The Chairman of Expert Educational and Charitable Foundation, Mangaluru, Prof. Narendra L. Nayak, hails from Sastan, a village near Udupi. Being a brilliant student, he completed his studies in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore University obtaining 1st class with distinction. He is also good in commerce subjects as he has completed intermediate exams of ICWAI.
Being an ex-faculty of National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, Prof. Nayak has created a revolution in the field of education by introducing scientific Coaching Technics in his own institution Expert Coaching Classes. Now Expert is a premier educational institute in Karnataka. He is also a musician who has made a name in Hindustani Classical Music. As the Vice President of 'Sangeeth Bharathi Foundation', Prof. Narendra L. Nayak revived Hindustani Classical Music in Mangaluru by organizing programmes by artistes of International repute.
